Once again, the GOP proves it only cares about ensuring tax cuts for the wealthy and big business. Cutting the lifeline for extended unemployment benefits now forces the states, whose resources are already strained, to assist those in need.
As usual, the argument is about reducing government spending, but they didn't seem to give much consideration to the issue years ago - when they began writing multi-billion checks every month to fund the Iraq War.
